Taurus Jr 4 ft Heavy Duty Camera Crane, Dual-Arm, Supports 30 lbs

The Taurus Jr is ProAm USA’s heavy-duty compact crane, built for
camera rigs that are too heavy for the Orion series. With a 30 lb
capacity, the Taurus Jr handles cinema cameras, fully rigged DSLRs,and broadcast camcorders that would overwhelm a single-arm crane.

The dual-arm design is what makes the difference. Two parallel arms
share the load and eliminate the flex you get with single-arm cranes
under heavy weight. The result is stable, smooth crane movement
even with a full cinema rig on the platform.

The Taurus Jr features both auto-leveling and manual tilt modes. Auto-
level keeps the camera at a fixed angle while you raise and lower the arm. Manual tilt (rated for cameras up to 10 lbs) lets you
independently control the camera angle during your crane movement
for more dynamic shots. A built-in tilt brake locks the platform at any
angle.

The included 360-degree lockable bearing mount provides smooth
panning and locks down when you need it fixed. Mount the bearing
directly to the ProAm heavy-duty tripod or any tripod with a 3/8”
connection.

At 12 lbs, the Taurus Jr is still light enough for one person to carry
and set up on location. Built from powder-coated and anodized
aluminum with steel hardware at every stress point.
