CLOSEOUT!

Whether you are shooting DSLR video, a small movie or feature film with your camera, you need a high quality and well designed Boom pole to capture great pro audio and ensure that the process of filming is smooth.

The filming process can be made Faster and more Efficient without any interruptions with the 8’ft articulating boom pole.

Our 8’ft Boom pole comes with a unique feature which differentiates it from conventional straight poles... the quick-interlocking articulating joint. The articulating joint allows you to bend and adjust the position of the boom pole, which ensures that it is hidden in the final shot and out of view of the camera. It allows the boompole holder to be closer to the scene but still remain out of sight.

On top of these great features, our 8’ft Boom Pole won'’t have your sound tech complaining about the weight as the lightweight construction of the 8’ft Boompole is just 1.3kgs (2.8 lbs). You can compress the 8ft’ boom pole into a small 34” (86cm) length when closed without disassembling.

This versatile and feature packed 8ft’ Boom pole makes it an indispensable piece of filming gear. It is used world wide for filming commercials, music videos and short or independent films. Add it to your arsenal and buy one today!

A Good Deal

For the $15 this is a good little piece of gear. First the down sides. It's short. 8 feet is not long at all but for a good percentage of shots it will work. It's made out of metal not carbon fiber, no surprise there but because of the length its really not that heavy. There is no soft grip of any kind, just bare metal but it does have a rubber stopper type ball on the end. Wrapping the handle in gaff tape might add some comfort. It only has one plastic clip to hold your cable. It would be nice if there were a couple more. The plastic tightener to extend the pole is small and cheap but it works. The plus side. There are really only two that I see but they far outweigh the cons. 1st it's inexpensive. Other's Ive seen are somewhere around $600. Sure they are better made but that's a ridiculous price in my opinion. 2nd, The articulating joint works well. Having the ability to hold this on your hip or clip into a belt is going to make things much easier on your body for long days. In my opinion, every boom pole should come equipped with an articulating joint. Why they don't is a mystery to me. Unless there are some better options out there which I personally have not seen yet, for the price of lunch at McDonald's, I'd say grab one up!
