Each solid aluminum arm is 12" long and connects by an all-metal grip head to an array of 4 neodymium magnets. The magnets are rubber coated for safe mounting to vehicles.

  • Features a standard 5/8 inch baby pin
  • Each magnet contains six 1/2 inch neodymium magnets
  • Rubber coating prevents scratches on vehicles
  • Designed to connect to the Modus platform
  • Supports camera loads up to 12 pounds*
  • Up to 40 pounds of vertical pulling strength per magnet**

Contents

Twelve (12) Rubber coated neodymium magnet mounts
Six (6) Metal clamping grip heads
Three (3) Aluminum 12 inch rods
Four (4) Magnet array mounting bar with 5/8 inch pin

*Flat, hood or roof mounted positions provide the best supporting surface. Side or door mounted surfaces may require additional support or longer rods.
**While the vertical pulling strength maxes at 40 pounds, real world conditions reduce the operating weight limit. Mounted loads will put additional torque on the magnet. Camera and lights, when mounted, raise the center of gravity of the mount making it easier to remove.

Warnings and Notices

Check local and state laws before mounting devices to a vehicle operating on public roads. Vehicle mounting may be dangerous if not done properly. Have an experienced professional set up the mounting. Follow instructions and always secure the mounting device to the vehicle using secondary methods.

Always use a secondary method of securing the device being mounted such as a lanyard or safety chain.
Always use a tie-down strap to secure the mount to the vehicle. We recommend the following accessories

4 Pack Tie Down Safety Straps with Safety Clips
- Secure the mount to the vehicle with tightening tie downs. These have safety clips to prevent the hooks from coming undone during operation.

Soft Mounting Straps
- These are used to connect to hard points on the vehicle such as a hitch receiver or to extend a door and hood soft mounting point.

Door and Hood Soft Mounting Points
- Allows you to create a mounting point for the tie down strap at any door or hood  seam.

Safety Chains with Carabiners
- Connect directly to your camera and stabilizer to prevent severe loss in the case of accidents.
