Custom made aluminum yoke (U-shaped bracket) for the Aputure Amaran P60c and P60x. This yoke allows quick and easy tilting of the LED panel, even when fully loaded down with batteries and the softbox.

The Amaran LED panels are great lights; lots of output for the cost! But mounting on a single plastic-encased brass thread on the bottom of the light is difficult to trust. It can also be a pain to adjust when using the included articulating bracket. That's why we came up with a simple yoke bracket that connects on two points of the light for a secure connection. 

Light and batteries not included. V-Mount plate is optional.

  • Will there be more of these made in the future. I'm trying to purchase two more of them.

    Yes, we're working on getting them done now. Hopefully we'll have them for sale in the next couple of weeks (beginning of May) Sorry for the delay!

  • Can you tell me what would be the dimensions of the P60C with this yoke attached from the widest points? I'm planning on permanently affixing these and I'm trying to find a compact case that will accommodate a three light kit.

    The height is 12-7/8 inches with the p60c mounted.
    The height is 12 inches with the p60x mounted.

    The width of the unit with yoke attached is 13-1/4 inches with the knobs. 
    If we replaced the lever style adjusting knob with a round one, the width would be 12-1/2 inches.
    Without knobs it is 11-3/8 inches. If you needed to reduce the width closer to this dimension, it's possible to use thinner profile knobs.

Great product and super fast shipping!

I just received my delivery of three yoke mounts for a set of Amaran P60c panel lights. I ordered the mounts AFTER I had already ordered the lights, as I was unimpressed with the offerings for mounts I found elsewhere and figured I would just have to try the single bottom mount with my Manfrotto umbrella adapters. Knowing that there had to be someone making a decent yoke mount - I kept searching and luckily found ProAm. I have the mounts sitting on my desk and they look great! They would look even better mounted to the lights - but I'm still waiting for my delivery of those items. Yes... ProAm's standard delivery (free, in my case) includes prompt shipping of which I am grateful. In fact - from online order to product in my hands in less than 48 hours - from out of state! I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the excellent service I received from the team. I ordered from America while living in Germany. they went above and beyond to help me reduce my shipping costs under 150€ so i didn`t have to pay a bunch of unnessecery import customs cost.

Almost perfect

Just got my yoke in the mail. Overall build is nice, easy to mount my p60c. I think my only gripe right out the gate is while there is a screw hole to mount the recommended v-mount, it really needs two screw holes to keep the v-mount steady. Just testing the mounting and unmounting of the battery is enough to make not want to use that mount. With only one screw it twists on the yoke, Pro-Am please consider adding another screw hole or maybe you own v-mount option!
Looking forward to testing the yoke in the field but a, already looking for a more secure way to mount v-mount. Those batteries are too expensive to risk on a flimsy mount!
