Modus Track Dolly System with 4 Wheel Sets

The Modus Track Dolly is a low-profile camera dolly system that rides directly on track rails. Unlike the SolidTrax tripod dolly where your camera sits on a tripod above the dolly, the Modus puts your camera close to the track for low-angle tracking shots, tabletop product videos, and ground-level perspectives.

The system includes the 12” diameter Modus platform and four SolidTrax wheel sets with mounting knobs. Mount a fluid head or ball head directly to the platform using the built-in 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded mounting points, then roll along your tracks for smooth, repeatable camera movement. Recommended for camera loads up to 12 lbs.

The Modus platform is the foundation of a modular system. Beyond track dolly use, you can swap the wheel sets for table top dolly wheels (for freeform floor/table movement), magnet mounts (for vehicle rigging), or vibration isolator kits (for shooting from moving vehicles). Each configuration is available separately, so you build exactly the system you need.
