Description

At multiple lengths up to 8 feet, the modular CarryOn Jib packs up to a compact 22 inches, going anywhere your projects take you.

Deciding which film gear to travel with can feel a lot like trying to decide which family member to leave behind – an often impossible decision to make. Whether you are going overseas or trekking into a local wildlife park, without a multi-person crew you’ll have no choice but to limit yourself and perhaps sacrifice that one perfect shot. Camera cranes are one of those unique pieces of equipment that can turn an okay video into a great one. The high-reaching arm lets you capture dynamic and captivating shots. However, even the smallest crane models make filmmakers think twice before transporting them to a location, especially if that location involves taking gear on a plane. The CarryOn Jib changes that. It enables filmmakers to get gorgeous shots just like our other models, but in a form that is so small you wouldn’t have to think twice about taking it with you.

Shown in 6 foot mode

The CarryOn Jib is the smallest and lightest crane of its kind supporting loads up to 10 pounds. It expands from a 4 foot mini-jib into a full 6 feet in length and can collapse into an unbelievable 22 inches, fitting into an airline approved carry on size bag, or easily in your checked luggage. The extension option brings the total length to an impressive 8 feet. The package is only 10 pounds, making it possible to take anywhere you and your camera go.

Super compact size at just 22 inches!

Reliable November 16, 2015

This is the 5th piece of gear I bought from ProAm USA. I love the fact that it is made in the USA. The products are very durable & sturdy.
I just ordered the Carry On Jib Crane. I do have the Orion, 12ft. Total in length. But, I wanted a similar product that would give me unique shots inside of a building that has tight space. I use my Orion on outside of events, I wanted to use the carry on for inside shots. Doing mostly Wedding Videography, having compact yet reliable gear is crucial. That's why I love my Carry On Crane. Light weight, compact, yet still achieving shots like no other piece of gear in my arsenal like a crane can give.
ProAm USA always ships out on time, I actually received this package 1 day ahead of schedule. Packaged carefully & right! Customer Service is always available to answer any questions I have as well.
For any gear that I need, the 1st place I look to is ProAm USA.The prices are great, products are reliable & service is amazing.

Thanks guys!

This product is so well made and incredibly portable, I did not think the two were possible. The only thing that is better is ProAm customer service.

Overall good product January 15, 2015
Reviewer: Riccardo Germinario from Milano, MI Italy
For the price is a great product, it didn't see yet much use in our production, but it feels solid. The construction is great, it takes a while to learn how to make really smooth movements. Paired with a Giotto's quickrelease makes taking the camera on and off much easier.

Works great with Canon Rebels, Canon 5D, Blackmagic Pocket and all the other small DSLR/Mirrorless cameras.

Great Product! January 14, 2015

This is a very high quality product that is both easy to transport, and fairly quick to setup and break down once you get used to it. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a cost effective portable jib solution for on location work that doesn't need two or more people to deal with it.
