Are you loading down your camera?

Need more stiffness to beef up your 12' ProAm camera crane? Just hook up these stabilizing cables for maximum support. Installing them is super easy and the cables are easily tightened by turning the heavy duty turnbuckles.

The ends of the crane are pulled tight, preventing unwanted movement. The black, vinyl-coated steel cables and stainless steel hardware look great with the black finish of the ProAm DVC200, DVC210 and DVC250 cranes.

Includes

  • Front support cable
  • rear support cable
  • aluminum support rod and bolt
  • 2 - heavy duty turnbuckles
  • 2 - S-hooks
  • 2 - eyebolts.
NOTE: Compatible only with 12' ProAm USA DVC200, DVC210 and DVC250 cranes purchased from October 2011

Great!

Works great. More support for the rig.

Support cables

Very well made of excellent materials. My only suggestion is on the "S" hooks provided, they are way overkill in respect to the size vs. function. You could get away with hooks just half of the size. This is not a criticism, only an observation

Great Investment

Using the support cables allowed me to mount my Ronin M on the end! Makes the Crane an absolute dream!

Excellent unit for the money...

The most complicated part of the unit is unpacking it. I mean, they take great care to insure that every part is protected so you do not have to go through the hassle of returning parts. Unpacking it takes longer than to setting it up - lol!

I received the unit last night and will be testing it on a national TV reality show teaser involving 5 to 6 cameras. The Orion will be used in its 12 foot configuration for wide to medium shots of talent playing instruments.

More testing info to follow this review - standby!

Solid Support for both lengths!

There is a significant difference in the feel of your jib if you use these support cables. Less bounce and a more solid feel equals better production value. This kit works at both the eight foot and the twelve foot setups of the jib.
