What sets this crane apart from others on the market?
  • Don't be fooled by imitations! ProAm® virtually created the market for mid-sized cranes. While imitations come and go, ProAm® will be around to honor the crane's LIFETIME warranty.
  • The “single rail” design achieves a light weight crane easily assembled by 1 person. It is complemented and made more stable by a second rail that accomplishes the tilt function.
  • High Density scratch resistant powder-coating. Others use only a black spray paint which flakes off easily.
  • The combination of price, usable features and excellent build quality make it the best mid-sized crane on the market. The manufacturer warranties the product for life and we guarantee your total satisfaction with our 30 day money back policy!
  • The design is completely tool-less at no extra cost!
  • With this camera crane, operators can choose to tilt the camera independently while tilting the crane body so there is no need for an expensive motorized panhead, or by using the auto tilt feature, keep the camera fixed at the same angle while tilting the crane body. Most cranes force you to keep the camera level while booming. That won't allow you to keep focused on a subject and can severely limits your shots.
  • ProAm® backs this product with a LIFETIME Guarantee, because they know it will last.
  • Design protected by US Patent.

Amazing Quality and Service October 20, 2014

I needed the gear for a last minute project. Everything was very high quality and worked as advertised. I would suggest buying a set of extra bolts if you plan on moving between many locations.  In our hurry we dropped one and needed to improvise.  Other than our mistake, I am very pleased with the user experience.

Orion Crane April 19, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Foxboro, MA United States
I was stuck between a dolly, slider or crane for my first investment in large equipment and realized that I could get a lot of the shorter movements of a dolly or slider with this crane just by adding a fluid head. $500 total out the door (I added the tripod, monitor bracket, and carrying case) plus another $270 spent for a Manfrotto 502 fluid head and weights (for counterbalance) is a great value for what I paid. Adding a $650 motorized pan/tilt head would bring me to only $1,420 invested - roughly the cost of a decent motorized slider alone! Build quality for the money was to be expected as the mount feels just a bit wobbly. Mine arrived with a broken plastic knob but the following Monday I called customer service and a replacement was sent out before the end of the day. I'm truly excited by what this crane allows me to do and with a future dolly add-on ($199) it's going to really help me differentiate my work from other amateurs that are just starting out.
